ONLINE ACROSS ONTARIO

When everything looks right but something still feels off.

Somatic trauma focused therapy for people who function well and still can't switch their mind off at night.

You already recognize the pattern. Understanding it hasn't closed the gap between knowing and feeling, because the real shift happens in the body, not the story.

Maybe you've done therapy already, and you still don't have what you came for: the ability to make a decision without arguing with yourself, to feel present in your own life, to be connected to your purpose.

What this supports, over time, is a slow and gentle return to aliveness.

Who you might be:

You are a seeker who feels deeply and might feel alone in the world

You take care of everyone else, but rarely let anyone take care of you

You have a good life and feel almost nothing about it

You are a people- pleaser and overthinker

You were “fine growing up,” but something essential was missing

You can tell you exactly what happened to you yet still can't feel it

You function well on the outside, but don’t feel fully alive inside

You might recognize yourself in these patterns:

Chronic overwhelm, shutdown, or hypervigilance is often what complex trauma looks like

Emptiness, self-disconnection, or emotional flatness is often what childhood emotional neglect feels like

Some people come here after difficult family decisions or estrangement

Some come here as the different one, the sensitive or questioning child who never quite fit the family they were born into

And often, there's no single defining event, just a long-term attunement to what was missing

How this works

Sessions here are integrative and trauma-focused. They draw on several approaches depending on what your nervous system needs that day, rather than following a fixed protocol.

Insight on its own doesn't change an inner state that's still bracing for something. The patterns you're trying to shift, the numbness, the disappearing under stress, watching your life from a few feet away, live in the body as much as in the mind. Talking about them can only take you so far.

So the work follows what's happening in your body while you talk, alongside what you're saying. Part of that is getting to know the protectors and the younger parts of you that have kept you safe in ways that no longer serve you. When words run out, image, art, and metaphor come in, pulled from what's already yours.

The work is also relational. You'll be met by someone who stays present and engaged, and who tells you what they're noticing when it's useful rather than hiding behind neutrality.

Complex trauma and developmental trauma

You can't point to one thing that happened, or you can point to so many that it stopped meaning anything.

You keep functioning, and underneath that you've been braced for years without being able to say what for.

This is where somatic work and NARM come in.

Childhood emotional neglect and family estrangement

Your parents did their best, and you still came out of it unsure what you're allowed to need.

Maybe you've gone quiet or distant with family and can't tell whether that was the right call.

Attachment and relational work goes at whatever pace you can hold.

Anxiety and nervous system regulation

You know you're safe, and your body hasn't agreed to it yet. You're tired in a way sleep doesn't fix, and the regulation techniques you've read about work for about an hour.

Nervous system regulation starts underneath technique, with what your body is already doing.

Spiritual therapy, Nature connection and Psychedelic integration

Something happened that you don't have words for, and the people around you either want to make it bigger than it was or explain it away.

Spiritual therapy and psychedelic integration mean it gets taken seriously and worked with in your body and your life.

Somatic work is the foundation here. Sessions stay with sensation, breath, and nervous system regulation, so that change becomes something you feel in your body rather than something you only understand about yourself.

The work often draws on developmental and relational frameworks such as NARM when meeting early survival patterns, including how identity, connection, and your sense of yourself were shaped in childhood.

When words are not enough, imagery, movement, and creative expression can reach experience that is hard to put into language. The emphasis is on what you notice while you make something, not on how it turns out, and no previous art experience is needed.

Trauma-informed integration support for non-ordinary and expanded states, including preparation and processing.
